Following Governor Scott’s recent order for a phased restart of Vermont’s economy that balances the need to improve overall social and economic wellbeing with the need to prevent a resurgence of COVID-19 outbreaks, our churches will be open for individual devotion and personal prayer beginning this Monday, May 11. No public assemblies of any type will be allowed in the buildings. Unfortunately this means no public Masses, regularly scheduled sacramental celebrations, assemblies, or group devotions may be celebrated at this time.
For the safety of everyone, please follow the “social distancing” protocols and the guidelines that are posted on the church doors. Most especially do not come in if you feel sick or rundown or if you are in a “vulnerable group” – those who are over 70 years of age or have a pre-existing medical condition that puts them at risk. Please continue to “stay home and stay safe.”
