The goal of the Religious Education Program for St. Thomas and St. Mary’s parishes at St. Thomas Church is to pass on the Catholic faith in Jesus Christ that we have received, with a view to initiating the children into the fullness of the Christian life. 

This program recognizes the parents as the primary educators of their children, especially in the catechesis of the Catholic faith. Parents are expected to pass on the Catholic faith we have received by regular Mass attendance, practicing the faith through popular piety by such means as family prayer, Bible reading, regular attendance at religious education classes, and talking to children about their catechism lessons. Parents are welcome to attend class with their children.
